About Caleb McCoy
I'm an attorney experienced in private practice and general counsel roles working closing with operational leadership. I've enjoyed leading and representing companies in the areas of technology and software, construction, manufacturing, real estate, and more. In every project, I strive to obtain an understanding of the nuances within my client's specific markets and company operations to leverage an impactful edge in negotiations and drafting.

In addition to private practice clients, I serve as fractional general counsel for businesses, including a leading SaaS provider in the industrial training market servicing the Global 2000, where I help lead complex international data, cybersecurity, and privacy initiatives.

I also serve on local nonprofit boards in the Oklahoma City area and lead the Bucket List Book Club at my church, Memorial Road Church of Christ. I received my law degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2011.

Served as the chief legal and risk adviser to the owner, CEO, and CFO in a wide range of matters and strategies such as managing intellectual property law to financially leverage and protect our portfolio, studying multiple state laws in construction and real property to develop and implement best practices for our enterprise, managing litigation strategies, cases, and settlements in various states, drafting and enforcing employment policies to comply with the EEOC, ADA, and other employment laws and rules, and leading the defense and negotiations in OSHA, FMCSA, DOL, EEOC, and workers’ compensation allegations and disputes to favorable outcomes.

This includes leading drafting, negotiating, and managing due diligence on both sides of small business investments and acquisitions.

I lead international licensing and compliance matters, including contract negotiations with Global 2000 enterprises relating to industry-frontrunner services and analytics powered by our proprietary artificial intelligence. I am deeply involved in privacy and cybersecurity reviews and audits within the international myriad of rapidly evolving regulatory schemes, which includes my certification as an internal auditor under the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standard. I also manage all other general counsel matters in this rapidly growing enterprise, such as intellectual property portfolio protection, investment agreements, corporate and board governance, international employment matters, and data protection agreements.
